A Little About Me & Why I Started Vellum Collectibles
Growing up, I lived in a very strict household where trading cards—especially Garbage Pail Kids—were a big no-no. But that never stopped me. I loved those cards so much that I would pull up the corners of the carpet in my bedroom and hide them underneath. I even had secret hiding spots down in the greenbelt where my parents would never find them.
Eventually, I got caught. My parents made me take my entire collection to school and give it away. Needless to say, I was heartbroken.
Fast-forward to today. When I discovered how alive and exciting the trading card industry had become, I felt like that same little kid all over again. I couldn’t wait to start collecting. Pokémon, One Piece, Riftbound, and so many other incredible collectibles brought that childhood excitement rushing back.
But as I explored the industry, I quickly learned that not everyone shared the same passion for treating collectors fairly. That realization inspired me to create something different.
That’s why I started Vellum Collectibles.
My goal is simple: to provide fellow collectors with the highest-quality, pristine-condition collectibles while building a business founded on honesty, integrity, trust, and genuine customer care.
I believe collecting should be exciting, rewarding, and—most importantly—fun. Whether you’re a lifelong collector or discovering the hobby for the first time, I want you to feel confident that every purchase is handled with the same care and attention I would expect for my own collection.
Because at the end of the day, I’m not just selling trading cards. I’m sharing a passion that began when I was a little kid hiding Garbage Pail Kids under my bedroom carpet.
And this time, nobody’s making me give them away.
